Sali e Tabacchi Journal RIV N° 01

Sali e Tabacchi Journal is a publication which explores the relationship between the creative arts and Italy’s unknown rituals, habits and traditions. The magazine was founded by journalist and content creator Elisa Carassai and art director and graphic designer Leonardo Pellegrino. Issue 01 is dedicated to the theme of Spirituality, which explores the ethereal parameters between the spiritual and the religious, and how both coexist in a world where individualistic values no longer coincide with the iconoclastic. This issue delved into the meanders of the occult and esoteric: witchcraft, paganism, psychic abilities; our relationship with heirlooms, talismans, objects which exude energy which can be transmitted, transformed, passed on; the elevation of craft and cuisine to an almost religious level and so much more.
